About Us

Al Salam Foundation represents one of the largest Muslim congregations in Indiana. The community has been expanding rapidly. Our community is actively involved in interfaith activities and works hard to develop bridges between people of different religions and cultures. It is an Islamic non-profit organization, established in 2012, for the purpose to undertake and engage in religious, charitable, educational, and cultural activities. Al-Salam Foundation also promotes friendly relations between Muslims and people of other faiths to foster a Muslim community based on Islamic principles of universal brotherhood, equality and tolerance.

Al Salam Foundation has always been a pleasant and welcoming environment for people of all religions and backgrounds. Countless events have taken place to promote information, develop bridges, and occasionally clarify popular misconceptions about our faith.

Our congregation enjoys receiving visitors from all walks of life (academics, schoolchildren, representatives of local faith-groups, state and local authorities).
